I don't usually post about politics, but...
Many anti-OWS folks think the protestors are lazy because they go protest in the streets instead of working, which would solve their problems. The protestors are the ones being painted as greedy, idle, pampered, and opportunistic - because they prefer to sit around and whine about how the world is unfair, waiting for handouts from our taxes.
Until you realize that the protests are addressing...

I just recalled having woken up, mid-dark, with a terrifying dream seeping away. I was floating in the middle of the ocean with a life vest on; a flashing red light (for signaling help) was about to come on, which would immediately alert underwater creatures to my presence.
